Renzo Gracie [1] is a very well-known MMA fighter (1.78m, 170 lbs=77kg) and the head instructor at the Renzo Gracie MMA Academy in midtown Manhattan.  On Sept 6, 2012, 2 men attempted to mug him on 22nd St & 10th Ave. As Renzo was beating them up,  he was taking pictures and twittering about it [2]. As he describes it: left hook, right straight, he dropped, then I punched him a couple more times, one little kick to the ribs, he started whimpering, the other guy took off, caught the second guy, gave him the old style Raccoon (two black eyes), choked him out 3 times [3], and every time he woke up I was whispering at his ears.. That's what death feels like it.. Don't do that again.

[1] Pronounced "Henzo", since he is a Brazilian

[3] Although commonly called "choke" (prevent air from reaching lungs), what he did was almost certainly "strangulate" (prevent blood from reaching the brain. Actual choke is more painful and dangerous, and prohibited in MMA, while all classic chokes "Rear Naked Choke", "Triangle Choke", "Guillotine Choke", etc, are in fact strangulations and very safe.
