I am afraid of heights. Last year I did not even do this
although it's only 800 ft straight down.

This winter, while visiting our friends in NYC on the 44th floor (~450 ft), I noticed that I was not afraid anymore.

With this info in hand, this summer, I did look down from Panorama Point (1000 ft vertical drop)

Now onto Diving Board (1400 ft drop)
http://picasaweb.google.com/ozabluda/20110709_Yosemite_MistPanorama4MileTrail#5628138726335445330 ,

then Visor (4000 ft drop)

Last time, I wouldn't come closer then 30 ft to the Visor.

3 people were swept over Vernal Fall yesterday.
3 people were swept over Vernal Fall yesterday. They are still looking for the bodies, and closed (now reopened) Mist Trail.

The relevant area in my videos is here:
Merced river waterfalls in river order (downhill)

And here:

(going on for about 10 more photos)

This brings the total count of people swept over waterfalls to 7 so far this year.

1 fell on May 19 into Meced river from Mist Trail
1 went over Upper Yosemite Falls June 17 (my preferred way)
2 were swept over a Wapama Falls bridge near the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir on June 30.
