I am afraid of heights. Last year I did not even do this

although it's only 800 ft straight down.

This winter, while visiting our friends in NYC on the 44th floor (~450 ft), I noticed that I was not afraid anymore.

With this info in hand, this summer, I did look down from Panorama Point (1000 ft vertical drop)

Now onto Diving Board (1400 ft drop)

then Visor (4000 ft drop)

Last time, I wouldn't come closer then 30 ft to the Visor.

3 people were swept over Vernal Fall yesterday. They are still looking for the bodies, and closed (now reopened) Mist Trail.

(going on for about 10 more photos)

This brings the total count of people swept over waterfalls to 7 so far this year.

1 fell on May 19 into Meced river from Mist Trail
1 went over Upper Yosemite Falls June 17 (my preferred way)
2 were swept over a Wapama Falls bridge near the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir on June 30.
