The NYT article goes on to claim that the reason bilingual people are so much smarter is because in their mighty brain, one language can stop another language mid-stream.

Tthis sooo makes total sense to me. I should know. I am tri-lingual, so I must be some kind of a super genius. In my mighty brain, languages always fight 2-against-1, which, of course, makes it super-mighty.

It's similar to how stooping peeing mid-stream makes you mighty, if you are catching my drift.

just imagine the effectiveness of stopping 2 streams mid-stream!

Kegel exercises were popularized by Futurama's "Kegelcizer": Kegelcizer

Recently it came up in the Reddit thread "What exactly makes a woman good in bed? NSFW"
http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/qldqe/what_exactly_makes_a_woman_good_in_bed_nsfw/

when somebody asked for explanation for men, and got the following answer:
"You know that thing us guys do to stop pee mid stream? Yeah that is us doing the man kegal [sic]." I have it on good authority that women stop peeing the same way as men.

Checking with wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kegel_exercise """Exercises are usually done to reduce urinary incontinence, [...] as well as to increase the size and intensity of erections."""

Aha! Checks out, and more! From now on, I am going to exercise by not peeing, or by stopping peeing midstream or both. Rasputin отдыхает.

For women Kegelcise is easy. They can do it either naturally, or by using special sports equipment. I'll leave out wild stories of what some women allegedly can do with their Kegel muscles, since it's a family forum.
The exercises are named Dr. Arnold Kegel (1894–1981) who invented the Kegel Perineometer. His ancestors may or may not have been good at Kegelbahn.
