IQ and height, are correlated and are multi-gene.
IQ and height, are correlated and are multi-gene. That is, inheritance pattern does not follow a single gene and nobody found a single gene which is responsible for either. Until now that is (sorta). Behold rs10784502 SNP, located within HMGA2 gene, which is associated with the 0.6% increase in size of the brain per C allele , and 1.3 IQ points per C allele i.e, if one is monozygotic (goth same variant from mother and father), the effect doubles: 1.2% in brain size and 2.6 points in IQ. Same gene HMGA2 was the first gene ever found to be is associated with height in 2007, but in a different SNP rs1042725 (0.36 cm per C allele).

Common caution applies: the whole field is still very primitive. Too much to describe here.
